Lester stared at the stormy sky and shivered, thinking of Connor, lost through the anomalies. The silence and loneliness grew oppressive and he needed a distraction from his thoughts. He flicked through the stations on the television before checking the recordings, seeking something, anything to watch.

He paused on one, remembering evenings spent working as Connor watched it. Of pausing for a sip of tea and watching a scene and then the rest of the episode. He smiled as he remembered watching more as Connor curled against him, even as he fought his own Game of Thrones with Christine Johnson.
