Lester groaned as he woke, his head feeling as if someone was hammering to get out and his mouth as foul tasting as the bottom of a parrot’s cage. What the hell had he done last night?

“Get this down you.”

Lester cracked an eye open, hoping Quinn was just a figment of his hangover. He flung an arm across his eyes. Bloody hell, he never slept with the hired help. “Quinn.”

“Danny,” Quinn said. “And I definitely still respect you.”

Lester risked lowering his arm.

“Who wouldn’t after a shag like that?” Quinn added with a wide grin.

“Quinn!”
