I stirred slowly, taking the moment to luxuriate in a rare morning of waking up naturally rather than my mobile summoning me to yet another anomaly alert. I snuggled under the covers, smiling as I remember last night's activities.

I was so engrossed in my pleasant memories that I jumped when kisses were pressed against my back. I turned over quickly when I felt my new lover pull away and met his guarded green eyes.

“I know sleeping with your boss is never a good idea...” he began before I cut him off with a kiss.

“Sometimes it is, James.”
