A/N: For P100 prompt 575: Too Hot To Handle. Meaning: someone difficult or impossible to deal with. Any situation that is hard to deal with or problematic.


Lester massaged his temples and, after a longing look at his whisky, dry swallowed his tablets. Not that he had much hope they'd see off his impending migraine.

He had enough on his plate between holes in time and creatures which didn't understand they were long dead causing property damage, not to mention injuries and deaths. He didn't need members of his bloody team causing him even more problems.

Lester sighed and returned to typing the apology to the Queen's equerry, making a mental note to forge Cutter's signature and to never let the man anywhere near The Firm again.
