Title: Once Bitten
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, (Tom Ryan).
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 572: Bitten. Also for my Primeval Bingo (Card 9) prompt: Love without Hope.
For once in his life, Lester was uncertain which path he should take. He didn't like the feeling... and bloody feelings were why he was in this conundrum in the first place. Bloody hell, he made life-and-death decisions every day, why was this one so difficult?
He smiled wryly, knowing why. Considering how his last relationship had ended, could he risk his heart being trampled once more? That and he didn't even know if Ryan was interested, let alone willing to take the chance. Not when he remembered that the captain's own marriage had also ended in an acrimonious divorce.
