It was early morning by the time all the creatures had been repatriated and the anomaly had finally closed. All Ryan wanted to do was to go home and curl up in bed with Lester. Except he knew his lover would still be hard at work, for Lester refused to go home until Ryan returned safely from a Shout.

Ryan stopped in surprise when he found Lester asleep at his desk, snoring softly even though he claimed he didn't. He gently shook Lester's shoulder, smiling fondly when his lover blinked blurry up at him.

“Tom?”

“Time to go home, James.”
