Title: Maybe It Was Easier That Way
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Eva Treganowan (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Eva Treganowan belongs to Fredbassett. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 562: Amnesia. Continues from Fredbassett's Rocky Valley.
Eva Treganowan's thoughts wandered as she took the scones out to cool. It had been a shock, although a pleasant one, to see an Old One again, her first since her grandmother's passing.
She'd grown up on her grandmother's tales, believing when others called the old woman dotty or worse. When even her own family, carrying the blood of the Old Ones, could deny that the wolf they saw on the moors was their own grandmother, was if any wonder werewolves had become nothing more than myths.
Maybe it was easier that way... for both humans and the Old Ones.
