Sir James Lester wasn't often lost for words, but he couldn't think of anything adequate to cover the situation which had greeted him when he'd opened his front door. In his opinion, it eclipsed every single disaster or incident he'd spent his career developing contingency plans for; even the zombie apocalypse one and Lester sincerely hoped that particular plan wouldn't need to be dusted off.

Quickly gathering his usual aura of command, Lester nodded to his guests. “Welcome back to the living, Captain Ryan, Doctor Hart, Professor Cutter. Coffee or would you prefer something stronger before we begin the debriefing?”
