Title: The Deadliest Flu Season!
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 558: Winter Flu Season. Somewhat Halloweeny.
'The Deadliest Winter Flu Season!' screamed the headline in the variety of newspapers Lester had arrayed before him. The spin was different, of course, ranging from blaming the government to, Lester's eyebrow rose, aliens. At least none mentioned the truth and Lester knew they'd been lucky the incursion had occurred now rather than in the summer.
Lester glanced at the report on his screen, the list of the dead and infected. He knew unless they found a cure, each would die, only to rise once more. He shuddered, zombies really should stay in horror films, not lurch out of anomalies.
