Title: Maybe The World Would Remember Him For That
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Philip Burton
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 549: Convergence. For my 52 weeks of Primeval weeks: Season 5 and Philip Burton.
Philip Burton wasn't a fool. Oh, he was willing to admit Helen Cutter had appealed to his ego, to be remembered for great things. The knighthood had only been the first of many awards, a Nobel Prize would surely have followed when New Dawn heralded a new start for humanity.
He never meant to doom humanity to that dying world Helen had shown him. As alarms blared around him, Philip took a deep breath and turned towards his creation. He'd made a mistake and now he had a chance to stop it.
Maybe the world would remember him for that.
