A/N: For P100 prompt 542: Helen Cutter. Also for the 52 Weeks of Primeval week: Helen Cutter.

Wandering time alone changed Helen. It had set her apart from the rest of humanity who had never witnessed the sights she had, both the wonders and the horrors.

It was one of the reasons she'd gone back to invite Nick to accompany her, to see and understand as she now did. But even Stephen had turned down her offer, and they called themselves scientists!

She left alone again, which took its toil on her. Seeing the destruction humanity spread with every act had her heart harden to her own species.

Helen would save the world, no matter the cost.

Helen was definitely not a fan of her own species. I wonder what would have happened if Nick (or Stephen) had gone with her...
Great drabble!

Not in the end. That would all depend if it was caused by being alone or not.

Thanks for reading.

The trouble is that Helen views saving the world in a slightly different light to other people.
