Connor didn't know what he'd find when he got to their... Lester's flat. Oh, Lester might have kept his locker, but he'd treated it the same as Abby's and Danny's: wrapped in plastic and shoved into a disused corner.

He paused, the key he didn't know if Lester remembered he had in the lock, before he entered. He had to know if he had, if he did, mean anything to Lester.

Connor smiled, his room was as he'd left it, his belongings on the shelves. More than that, they'd been carefully dusted.

“Stay?”

Connor spun at Lester's... James' voice. “Always.”
