Title: Always Try Again
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Helen Cutter
Rating: 18
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 513: Second Chances.
Helen paused at the cliff-edge to look down into the valley. Where were they? They should be here... a movement had her smiling when she finally spotted the small family group of Australopithecus foraging amongst the vegetation by the river bank.
She continued to watch for a moment before remembering her mission and heading slightly upstream, but not too far, she didn't want to kill anything else. Not yet, later she'd ensure all the small number of humanity's ancestors died. Then the Earth would have a second chance under a better caretaker.
And if not, she could always try again.
