Lester considered the personal file of Claudia Brown, fast tracked into the Civil Service. A relative newbie to the Home Office but... he had the feeling she would be one to watch.

When he heard about the odd sightings in the Forest of Dean, Ms Brown had been his first choice to investigate. The task would test her and so would be perfect to see how she reacted in the field. To see if he should guide her path in the Civil Service.

Admittedly he hadn't been expecting time travel and long extinct creatures, but... Claudia Brown had proven herself.
