Nick was bored, stuck at home with a twisted ankle. He wandered into the spare room housing James' telescope and limped towards it, curiosity having him peering into the eyepiece.

“Taking up a new hobby?”

Nick spun at James' voice. “I'd have thought it would be locked on the moon...” He paused, wondering if James would answer such a personal query.

James shrugged, looking away until Nick took his hand.

“James?”

“My father never approved of my interest in the moon, stargazing however was acceptable. It became a habit to point it at the stars when I had finished watching.”
