Title: Three Christmas Dinners
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For P100 prompt 503: Christmas Dinner. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.
Lester had always spent Christmas with family, eating far too much food and, in the last years of his marriage, trying to remain civil to his wife in the face of her family's hostility.
It had been a relief when the decree absolute had arrived and he'd spent Christmas on his own, not even bothering with Christmas dinner.
Now, with Matt in his life, it was all so different. They helped out at a homeless shelter, preparing and cooking dinner before sitting down to a well-deserved lunch. Each person there happy with what they'd received and not after something 'better'.
