“This is not what I meant by quiet and uneventful,” Lester remarked as he put down the report.
“No, James,” Jenny agreed. “Due to the number of burglaries in the area recently a neighbourhood watch was set up to keep an eye on things.”
“How interesting.” Lester raised an eyebrow. “What you're telling me is that our expensively and extensively trained soldiers were spotted and then apprehended by busybodies with nothing better to do with their time than to watch an empty building?”
“Yes, James.” Jenny smiled. “We could always hire them.”
Lester shot her a glare. “I think not.”
