“Becker said fish and chips was a traditional English meal.”

“Mmm...”

“You don't like it.”

“I didn't say that... and I'll have to admit this is some of the finest I've tasted.”

“Good. I didn't want to get this wrong so I asked everyone on the team.”

“Asked them what?”

“James... will you marry me?”

“Matt?”

“I'm serious, I've got a ring and everything... this is how you do it, isn't it?”

“Well, it's certainly memorable... and, Matt, of course I'll marry you.”

I don't know whether to cry tears of joy or be horrified, LOL!! What on earth was everyone telling him. Maybe Matt never revealed the purpose of his meal *g*
But bless them, happy ending :D

LOL, but it all worked out in the end ;) I did (do) have a partial alternative version that dealt with what everyone told him.
