Title: Breaking The Spell
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 493: Cancelled. Sequel to Bewitched?
Definition: Cancelled – to neutralise; counterbalance, to make void, revoke, annul.

Lester sipped his tea, the befuddling spell Helen had cast on Captain Ryan had been hastily placed and was already fading when he'd removed it. Which meant he could ignore the spells placed on the other soldiers – for now – and concentrate on Cutter and Hart.

He knew neutralising Helen's spell on them would be much harder, she'd have reinforced it over time until neither man would be able to think straight in her presence. He would end up with a migraine, but Helen would have a nasty shock the next time she tried to use that spell to influence them.

Lester ftw. I think Lester thinks the migraine will be worth it, but only considering the alternative.

Glad you liked it and thanks for reading.

Not at all. Lester's hoping it will wrong-foot her (or at least make her cautious over who can break her spell).

Thanks for reading and for looking it over for me.

Lester certainly hopes so, especially with the migraine he's about to give himself. Lester smiles at you.

Thanks for reading.
