Jess had hacked the CCTV and was in constant communication with the field team. It should have been enough to keep everyone safe... except one of Becker's useless lot had shorted out the building's internal intercom with a stray shot.

All Jess could do was watch, horrified, as a supposedly dead future predator – horribly vicious things which still gave her nightmares – woke and stalked after a young man. She'd screamed out “It's alive!” over the dead intercom and the live comms before directing Becker to the site.

Hoping he'd be in time but knowing he'd be too late.
