Title: Not The Expected Welcome
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Helen Cutter, Stephen Hart, James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 486: Pteranodon. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.
“Stephen...”
“No, you've survived everything the past has thrown at you for the past eight years but expect me to believe a Pteranodon surprised you?”
“I was distracted.”
“Really? By what?”
“I've missed you, Stephen.”
“No, you've missed someone stupid enough to fall for your tricks.”
“Oh, Stephen. Haven't you missed... me.”
“Eight years, Helen. I've got someone who loves me now.”
“Who?”
“James.”
“James.... you mean James Lester? Oh, Stephen, you could do so much better than him.”
“You? Never and I wasn't saying James' name, I was calling him.”
“So good of you to join us, Mrs Cutter.”
