Title: Troll
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100 + 100
Characters: Hilary Becker/James Lester
Rating: 18
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 484: Troll. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.
Definition: An old, unattractive gay man who hits on young men, and cannot seem to understand that they want nothing to do with him.
Lester frowned when he noticed the younger and bloody attractive man standing possessively close to Becker. He stepped closer, cursing himself for a fool when he overheard the man's words.
“What do you want with a bloody troll like him when you could have me?”
Lester knew almost everyone in the club was thinking the same thing, would wonder why Becker chose to be with him. They weren't the only ones, Lester asked himself the same every day when he woke up with Becker in his arms, wondering whether today would be the day Becker found someone better than him.
It took all of Becker's self-control not to punch the pretentious wanker. He swore when he caught sight of James' expression and realised he'd heard every word. Worse, he believed them.
“Because,” Becker growled. “James is a hundred times the man you'll ever be.”
“Fuck you!”
“In your dreams, troll.”
Becker dodged the punch before sending the man to the floor. He stepped around the spluttering idiot and kissed his lover. “Home, James?”
“Becks?”
Becker swore at the uncertainty in James' voice and kissed him again. “You're worth more to me than Vera, James.”
James smiled. “Vera will be disappointed.”
