A/N: For the P100 challenge 484: Troll. Set in my Strange Bedfellows drabble series – I mean, how could I not with this prompt?


Lester grumbled at the inconvenient timing of the doorbell before allowing Lyle to deal with whoever had interrupted them. Raised voices gained his attention and he quickly righted himself when he heard Lyle's, “Look, mate, we haven't got your goats.”

Goats? Considering just how strange their lives had become, Lester decided it was time to investigate before anything interesting happened. He nodded politely to the small but very hairy individual speaking to Lyle. “Jon?”

“Um... Lars here thought the delivery company dropped his goats off here.”

“I haven't seen any,” Lester informed Lars. “Have you tried their customer service department?”
