Title: The Village
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester/Connor Temple
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 482: The Village.
Notes: The boys attend PortmeiriCon, The Prisoner Convention. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.
Lester felt that he'd walked through an anomaly into the 1960s, except for the numbered badges everyone wore. Connor had been on about this for months, planning to come with his mates but...
“James?”
“I'm sure I'll find something to do, Connor. They have a chess match.”
“Ah.”
“Connor?”
“It's human chess.”
“Human?”
“I'm sure you could be the knight...”
“That's fine, Con.” A white object gained Lester's attention. “Why is there a large, white balloon and why is everyone avoiding it?”
“Oh, that's Rover.” Connor grinned and grabbed Lester's arm. “Lets go and see a screening and you'll understand.”
