“Watch out!”
Becker eyed the frog. “Excuse me, did you speak?”
“Yep, guv,” the frog ribbetted.
“I didn't know frogs could speak,” Becker said, remembering his father's lessons about being polite to others.
“I was cursed,” the frog croaked.
“Ah, so you want a kiss?” Becker had read the tales, even if his father had banned them.
“Thought you'd never offer.” The frog licked it's lips before puckering them.
“You are male, aren't you?” Becker asked cautiously.
“Yep.”
“Good,” Becker murmured before kissing the frog. It's shape shimmered and the ginger-haired, craggy-faced man was all Becker had ever dreamt of.
