Tate's snide remarks were beginning to get on Lester's last nerve. He might have gone from controlling a major project absolutely essential to National Security to sharing an office with bloody Tate, but if the man thought he was on the fast track to success... well, he was sadly mistaken.

Lester smiled, unlike Tate, he knew his current situation was only temporary. The anomalies would eventually reoccur and the minister would require his expertise.

Not that he'd return alone, he wasn't the only one who had fallen from grace and he'd make sure Becker got his second chance as well.
