“What the hell happened?”
“I don't know.”
“Excuse me? I thought you were there when that bloody Andrewsarchus came through the anomaly?”
“We sent it back.”
“Excellent. I was referring to the event it interrupted.”
“Ah. That.”
“Yes, that.”
“The pancakes attracted it. Why would you race with them?”
“It's tradition.”
“It is? Well, they attracted the Andrewsarchus and it got excited with everyone running.”
“So I've been informed.”
“On the bright side, the winners broke the record.”
“I'm sure that makes it so much better.”
“And we got to eat the pancakes. Can you make them tonight?”
“Yes, Matt.”
