Lester had to attend this gala, much as he wished otherwise. Stepping inside the Natural History Museum had brought back memories of the last time he was there...

Of wandering the halls and galleries with Ryan. Of exploring every nook and cranny with his lover, of almost being discovered in flagrante by a curator... He could almost heard Ryan's voice and shook his head, now was not the time to break down.

“James!”

Lester felt a hand on his arm and turned, but his sharp words died unsaid as he stared into Ryan's face. He thought Becker was there too...
