Primeval drabble: Oops?
Title: Oops?
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester/Jon Lyle
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 431: Past Challenge – 15: Oops. Prompts and pairing from Luka.
Lester's eyebrows rose when his driver dropped him outside his residence, the several fire engines parked nearby didn't bode well. The noise and flashing lights were the last thing he needed after his long day, culminating in an unnecessary meeting with the bloody minister.
He sighed, all he had wanted was to relax with a tumbler of excellent scotch and spend the evening with his lover... although this disturbance had Lyle's fingerprints all over it.
“James?” Lyle's voice was welcome, his soot-blackened face wasn't.
“Jon?”
“I had a slight accident in the kitchen.” Lyle tried his best puppy-dog eyes. “Oops?”

Oops, indeed.
Poor James.
No rest for the weary...

Lyle was trying to be helpful... or maybe just washing their caving ropes... but I'm sure he'll make it up to poor James.

LOL. Lester has a driver, Jon needs a minder...
Poor boy was probably just trying to cook a nice meal for his lover!
