Lester frowned when Becker barged into his office and hauled him from his chair. The feel of his lover's hands on him almost had Lester wishing he could stuff professionalism for once. “Can I help you, Captain?”
“Are you OK?” Becker demanded, his hands clenched around Lester's arms.
“Perfectly,” Lester replied.
“Good,” Becker said before releasing Lester, a disapproving look replacing the worry on his face. “What the fuck did you think you were doing?”
“Ah, the raptor,” Lester murmured. “I was armed, perfectly safe and it might have scratched the paintwork.”
“It was just a bloody car!” Becker snapped.
