Ryan had woken to find himself alone, buried beside his men. Truthfully, he didn't know how he'd survived the attack, he'd been so sure he was dead.

He shook his head. How wasn't important, getting home to his lover was. With that thought in mind, Ryan took inventory of the abandoned supplies; trying to decide what might be useful and what would just be dead weight.

He paused when he found the radio, he wished he could send a message to his lover. To let him know he was safe, that he needed help... but no one would hear it.
