Tears glistened in Connor's eyes as his heart filled with so much love he thought it would burst.

She was so perfect.

Connor couldn't believe he was responsible for such a beautiful child as he cradled her close in his arms, rocking her for the first time.

His heart melted as her eyes sleepily opened and looked into his own.

Connor vowed to protect her against everything and anything.

He would always be there for her.

For his daughter.

A soft cough had Connor looking at Abby, a smile gracing her tired face. “You'll be the best dad ever, Con.”
