Helen realised this would be the opportunity of a lifetime, the knowledge she could obtain might be absolutely priceless.

She needed to research. To decide the first variable she should change and then observe how it effected the experiment, recording the results and comparing them to the unaltered world. Then, she'd go back to the same point and change something else to see what differences arose.

It was just such a pity Nick had turned his back on her, they should have done this together. Although Stephen would be... more agreeable.

She smiled, knowing what her first change would be.
