Primeval drabble: The Easter Bunny
Title: The Easter Bunny
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Jon Lyle (OC)
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 413: Easter. Also for my Primeval Bingo Card (round 6) prompt: Wild Card: Anthropomorphic Personifications of Abstract Concepts (8/25). Set in the same 'verse as my Strange Bedfellows drabble series. Don't ask ;) Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.
“James?”
“Jon?”
“Do you....”
“Do I what?”
“You know we met Santa and everyone else...”
“Yes...?”
“Well, do you think the Easter Bunny is real too?”
“Do I want to know why you want to know?”
“There's a rabbit in the garden.”
“And you feel the need to point this out for me because?”
“Because it's got a basket full of eggs.”
“It's got what? Jon, if... ah... so it has. Happy Easter, Jon.”
“That's all you've got to say?”
“What would you like me to say? Take your egg and say thank you, Jon.”
“Um, thank you, Mr Bunny.”

I think Lester can truthfully state that he has reached the stage when absolutely nothing fazes him any more.

That was fun, especially Lyle controlling himself enough to (a) not swear and (b) be polite!
