Lester lay awake in bed and did his best to ignore his little problem. Whatever had possessed him to invite Connor to his flat?

Connor had turned his life upside down – what with socks in his breadmaker, towels discarded on the bathroom floor and those pests Connor was determined to call pets. As for finding Connor's discarded underwear... Lester shifted into a new position, knowing that image – seared into his mind wasn't helping his current situation.

Lester sighed, he knew why he'd invited Connor and he knew he was a bloody fool. Connor wouldn't – couldn't – think of him that way.
