Matt came from a future that was slowly dying, and taking every living thing along with it. He remembered discovering a shrivelled plant and coaxing it back to life, marvelling at it's beauty when it had thrived under his care.

He'd looked it up as soon as he'd arrived in this time, only to discover it was a 'weed'. Something most people destroyed without a thought, without seeing its beauty or life.

Sometimes he despaired at what was taken for granted in this world and wondered if people had ever regretted what they'd let die once it was too late.

That's just how Matt would think, I'm sure. Even a weed would be wonderful to him. Nice one!

Very poignant. Sometimes it takes losing things in order to appreciate their beauty.

That's really nice. I like seeing things like this from a different perspective, and Matt's take on things would be very different.

Glad you liked it and thanks for looking at it for me.

Matt has to have a different perspective to everyone else, he'd love everything.

Matt's poor plant had to be a weed.

Glad it worked and thanks for reading.

Aw, I can definitely see Matt frustrated at the way we treat things.

Poor Matt. He's right, of course, but angsting all the time is wasting the beauty and joy of *his* life.

Not sure he's so much angsting as hoping to convince others to see the world his way.

Thanks for reading.
