Primeval drabble: Let Me Look After You
Title: Let Me Look After You
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Connor Temple, James Lester
Rating: 15
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 385: In the Library. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for looking at it, although it has been changed.
Connor carefully cracked open the library door and peered inside, breathing a sigh of relief that James was alone. He really hadn't wanted to interrupt his husband's meeting with the minister.
He changed his mind when he noticed the tension in James' shoulders. Fuck! The minister must have tried to blame James for the disaster; pity he hadn't realised Connor had proof James had warned him that New Dawn was a mistake.
Well, Connor knew exactly how to relax his husband.
“Con!”
“Let me look after you, love.” Connor smiled at James before following his gaze. “I've locked the door.”
