Title: The Bunker
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Matt Anderson
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 374: Squirrel. For my Making An Impression drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for the beta, cheers m'dear.
James woke, a hard cough shaking his body, and felt a hand rubbing his back and then sweet, cold water against his lips that he gratefully swallowed. He blinked until his vision settled to find Matt watching him worriedly.
“Where?” James croaked
“Easy, James, rest.” Matt held the water to his lips again. “This is a bunker, I grew up in one. Secure from the storms and with hoards of supplies I don't think anyone is coming back for.”
James nodded before sitting up quickly, his gaze frantic. “Connor?”
“He's fine, just rest.”
James tried but failed to resist sleep.
