Title: Missing Him
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester/Jon Lyle
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace. Lyle belongs to Fred.
A/N: For my Primeval Bingo Card (round 3) prompt: Evening. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eyes over it.
James stared at the slowly darkening sky. This was usually his favourite time of day, knowing he had the whole evening to share with Jon, but... he'd had no news for over a week. He could think of nothing but Jon. If he was safe and well. If he also watched the stars and thought of him.
He heard the door open and spun, smiling in relief when he saw Jon standing there, battered but whole. They met in a tight hug, lips kissing hungrily.
“Miss me, possum?”
James pressed harder against Jon. “What do you think, my little wombat?”
