Lester entered his flat after another hellish day at the Home Office and for a brief moment he thought he'd been burgled... until he noticed the open door. Fuck! Had he forgotten to close it? He'd been in a rush and... Damn it!

He might as well see what the miscreants had destroyed this time; they really were as destructive as any tornado he'd seen on TV.

He heard a sorrowful chirp and looked down at the feather-covered culprit, his expression softening when he meet Nancy's soulful eyes.

“I miss him too,” Lester informed her gently as he stroked her.

Oh, Lester's heart is showing, once again. I knew he missed Connor, just too bad Connor ended up with Abby but then, this was a G-rated program so slash probably wouldn't have worked out too well. *g* Well done.
