A/N: For Basched's birthday and my Primeval Bingo (round 3) prompt: Priceless. Hope you like it and sorry it is late. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.


Matt heard Becker and ran, crashing through the doors to sweep the room for any signs of danger. His heart almost stopped when he saw Becker kneeling on the floor, curled over and hugging his chest. His EMD dropped from nerveless fingers as he rushed to Becker's side and called for help.

Matt's words died in his throat when he spotted the Mossberg clutched tightly in Becker's hands. He tugged Becker into his arms and patted his back, calling off the medics when Jess called for an update.

No one needed to see Becker like this, mourning his crumpled Mossberg.
