"Your duty is to help us," Lester steepled his fingers and leaned forward.
Helen's slight smile grew when the sound of shouting reached her ears. "Problems with the staff?"
Lester leaned back in his chair, a smile playing around his lips. "Not all of us are as easily manipulated."
Helen shrugged, Lester hadn't been her target. Her plan was working perfectly, revealing her affair had set Nick and Stephen against each other.
If they'd stood together they would have not only opposed her but possibly defeated her. But now, her plan could not fail and the Earth would be safe.
