Primeval drabble: Terrors In The Night
Title: Terrors In The Night
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Matt Anderson, April Leonard
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 366: Insomnia and my Primeval Bingo Card (round 2) prompt: Worst Case Scenario. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for looking at it for me.
Matt stared down the barrel of April's gun and hoped Danny would keep Becker to their plan. They couldn't fail now, not when they were so bloody close. “You don't want to do this, April.”
“I don't? I won't let you destroy Philip's greatest moment.”
“It won't be like that.” Matt informed her. “This discovery will do only one thing. It will result in the death of the Earth and all of humanity with it.”
“Jealous lies spread by Temple.” April spat out.
“No, I spent my childhood too scared they'd find me to sleep properly, waking at every sound.”
