Title: Dragon Lady
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester, Philip Burton
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 364: Dragons. Part of my Making An Impression drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for looking it over for me.
“How could I have been so stupid?”
“Do you really want me to answer that?”
“I believed her... she told me the world would remember my name forever.”
“To curse it, maybe. Now, stop whining and help me turn this off.”
“I... it's too late.”
“Tell me how to turn this bloody infernal machine off. Damn it, Burton. You believed her because that is what Helen does. She manipulates people, using them to further her own goals. I believe the usual term is 'Dragon Lady'. Now, get off your arse and help or by God you'll live to regret it.”
