A/N: Fred's prompt: How about Nick + not a morning person. Written for the Easter fest on cutters lab and also for my Primeval Bingo Card (round 2) Prompt: Lovers. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over it for me.


Nick woke with an annoyed mutter when his lover clambered out of bed and he heard the shower running.

It couldn't possibly be morning already.

He groaned and burrowed beneath the covers when the curtains were thrown open and sunlight assaulted him. Scottish insults followed when the covers were pulled off and even the coffee being waved under his nose couldn't coax him to open his eyes.

“Time to get up.”

Nick grunted at Lester's amused tones before blindly reaching for the covers.

“How about breakfast in bed followed by a shag?”

Nick cracked an eye open. “Now you're talking.”
