“James.” Philip waved his men back. “So good of you to join me.”
“Stop this, Philip.” Lester just needed to buy his people time. “Are you really willing to risk the end of the world for the sake of your ego?”
Philip shook his head mockingly. “Are you really that insecure about Connor? That he'd come to me when I succeed?”
Lester laughed. “Do you really believe Helen? She's already tried to wipe humanity out once, if you'd bothered to read the reports... dealing with her is like playing with fire. You'll get burnt and take the world with you.”
