Lester had no idea what the imbeciles on the television were on about, although they reminded him of his own team... he glanced at the clock.

“They'll be fine, Sir James,” Lorraine informed him as she handed him a cup of tea and a sandwich.

An hour later, the tea had been drank, the sandwich was beginning to curl at the edges and his team – Connor – still hadn't returned.

“I'd never had taken you as a Time Team fan, guv.”

Lester quirked an eyebrow. “What time do you call this, Quinn?”

Quinn grinned cheekily. “Knocking off with your husband time?”
