Title: The Final Test?
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 359: "You're Needed Here". Part 50 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series. Thanks go to Fred for casting her eye over this for me.
Lester scrambled up the slope and into the cave. He turned to help his companions, cursing when he realised that the entrance had vanished. He turned to peer into the depths of the cave and cautiously began to explore, wondering how his friends were dealing with this same situation.
He winced and covered his ears when a voice thundered, shaking the very ground he stood on.
“You have a choice.”
“What choice?”
“Two may go but one is needed here.”
Lester nodded, he'd been expecting some type of trick. He knew what his decision was and didn't hesitate. “I'll stay.”

Date: 2014-03-28 09:12 pm (UTC)Lester would probably be rather concerned if he encountered Cutter - after all, Helen did kill him.
Thanks for reading.

Or the Cutter they encounter is actually a version of Helen who has done the right thing for once? Hee
