“Madam.” Lester bowed.
“You have proven yourself worthy to break the curse.”
“Break?” Lyle muttered in Lester's ear. “I thought we'd done that?”
“Lyle!” Lester hissed, having no wish for Lyle to be turned into anything. “How do we break this curse?”
“Climb up to the cave hidden behind this waterfall and confront the enemy within.”
“Is that all?” Lyle asked sarcastically, although Lester noticed his lover ducked behind him when the witch looked at him.
“Defeat the enemy and the curse will be broken.”
“And then you'll send us home?” Lester enquired as politely as he could.
“As agreed.”
