Title: Showing Respect
Author: knitekat
Word Count: 100
Characters: Jon Lyle (OC), James Lester
Rating: 12
Disclaimer: Primeval belongs to Impossible Pictures and Lyle belongs to Fred. Certainly not me. Writing for fun and will replace.
A/N: For the P100 challenge 355: Submission. Part 46 of my Strange Bedfellows drabble series.
Lyle sighed as he stared at his next task before glancing at James, who nodded and sipped his wine. Bastard was probably content he'd completed his tasks... Lyle just hoped he finished this one, but how hard could it be?
Several attempts later left him aching in places he'd forgotten. What the hell was he missing? He groaned and almost kicked himself when he realised his mistake. Could it be that simple? It was worth a try.
He bowed deeply and waited for the response, grinning when he heard the soft wicker. He carefully patted the horse before tacking him.
